Mommy's 8 month old!!

We have had a VERY busy end of the summer!! Libby and I took a road trip with some buddies of ours to Seagrove Beach (but that's another post). Now, we are back at work, in all our church groups, Mom's Activities, going to birthday parties, storytimes, get-togethers, play-dates, a quick trip to meet our sweetest new baby friend, helping take care of Honey after her knee surgery ((she's doing GREAT now)...but we got to chauffeur her to several appointments where Libby entertained all the old men and ladies in the waiting rooms. What a ham--this girl loves an audience as long as she can put her show on from Mommy's lap! Don't even think about taking her!!)) So, we haven't had a second to ourselves. Whew.
Anyways, busy Libby is 8 and 1/2 months old! Nuts! She can say Ma-Ma, Ba-Ba, Hey, Da-da, ga-ga. That's pretty much the order they've come out of her mouth. She has 2 teeth, and wants to wants to walk. (crawling is for babies!---she can crawl backwards slowly but doesn't enjoy it). She hops on everything-legs, chairs, jumperoos, grocery baskets--and has figured out how to bounce across the floor in a yoga pose on her booty. We pinch pick up foods but still prefer any type of bottle or sippy cup---Like Mommy, Libby LOVES her Milk!!
Sweet Libby has gone blonde! All the dark hair was rubbed off and it grew back blonde!! I certainly didn't expect that!!?? But it's pretty adorable.
Libby looks less like her Daddy and more like LIBBY. She's becoming her own little person. I see alot of my grandpa in her chubby cheeks and expressions, so we often have "james harris" joining us at the dinnertable (except he liked his veggies Libby!) ha. Oh-the opinions! If we don't like it-we won't eat! ha. The biggest change at this age is the separation anxiety. Whoa. I anticipated some....but whoa. If I'm in the room, Libby tries to climb in my lap or wants me. If i can sneak out---I better not speak from the other room!! Hearing Mommy's voice is NOT GOOD if she isn't around.
Well, more later! I could type all day--but there's a sweet baby who wants my attention and that's far more fun that typing about her.
