Dr. LaLa Recommends!

RESINOL!!!! I used to recommend this when i was JUST a pharmacist, but now as a MOMMY i can back that up with experience too. Don't waste your time or your money on Desitin, Boudreauxs, Balmex, etc. They are all just zinc or vaseline. Just use zinc or vaseline. Should you need the big guns.....ask for Resinol. Most pharmacies keep it behind the counter and will order it for you if it's not in stock. I know of two texas babies who have used it **and will support these claims**. I like that it smells slightly medicinal (that's the crazy pharmacist side of me) and it really works quick. I keep it on hand and like to pass on good recommendations to others! With babies, there are so many products available it's nice to know what really works and what is just a gimmicky name. Libby and I give it 2 thumbs up! She doesn't eat solid real food yet, so we haven't dealt with real diaper rash, but she does give her overnight diapers a run for their money so I can only imagine what is in store. If for some reason any of you Mommies can't ever get your hands on any--we keep it in stock at the pharmacy I work at so I'll be happy to get some to you.
