oohhh....this church thing is FASCINATING!! Libby loved church. She hopped around to the music in my lap (she has a new love of jumping on your leg these days to begin with). She enjoyed looking at the lights too, which was a real relief for me. I was terrified what I'd do with a crying baby since there is a lot of singing and welcoming that takes place before the baptisms. But, I was proud of her!

These are a few candid pics from Libby's celebration. We had close family and friends to my parents house for lunch. My parents bought a bouncy house so the kiddos would have something fun to do. Thanks to all those who made our day so memorable and special.

Libby isn't so sure about this whole church thing! Her sweet Granddaddy Baird is holding her close! He drove down from Union City just to be a part of her day!



Finally got to meet Aunt Sarah! She came to church with Uncle Sonny before they jetted off the mountains! Aunt Sarah is my godmother and loves babies! HER twin brother and his sweet wife were also at the church for Libby's day! What a special baby!!!

Libby was Baptized at church on June 6th. It was a great day as her Daddy also became a member of the church and was baptized with her. Super sweet huh? She wore a dress made from my Nanny's wedding dress, my baby cross necklace, and a borrowed hairbow from Aunt Sugar. Almost like a wedding...all she needed was something blue. We were very lucky to have our wonderful friends and family join us for this special day. The Connells drove down and back from Nashville just to be there. It means so much to me! Thank you!! They've got sweet Hailey bug in this picture. Sadly, Mattie was in the HOSPITAL with a serious allergic reaction. I have never in my life seen in anything like what happened to this sweet girl--just from her medicine. She, and her Mommy, were real troopers. We GREATLY missed them at the baptism and party, but were happy they were getting the care that Mattie needed.

OF COURSE, Honey and Granddad were there!! She is soo lucky to have such wonderful grandparents. My grandparents were such a huge part of my life, I am thrilled that they are already such a big part of hers. She gets such a kick out of my dad making faces and noises at her, and she loves Honey loving on her. If I don't watch it...she's gonna be spoiled!! ha!

I have my computer and camera cord back!!

Here is Libby back in the beginning of May. She just discovered she could flail her feet around and started doing it whenever you'd look away to get your attention. Now, she has found her feet and hardly lets go of them!

I had a streak of bad luck (hitting a mailbox with my car, needing a new hard drive on my computer, crazy insurance issues with my doctor....the list goes on!). I now have my computer back and running, but a lot to catch up on.
