It's been awhile!

I guess my life is just so boring....or else so BUSY....I haven't had time to post anything new. Most of my free time these days I spend napping to catch up on sleep! I'm counting down to the wedding...and tying up lose ends (there seem to be quite a few!). I've got to spend a lot of time with the sweet nieces and my sister too!

I did escape Memphis and go to Florida for a quick weekend with my friend Heather. We sat on the beach for 2 days straight. It rained the day we left. I think we got a pretty good deal on the trip. We had a 2 bed 2 bath condo (bigger than some apartments I've lived in) right across from the nicest beach.

I also had company, as my friend Angela came into town for graduation! We got to spend a little time together while she was here, but part of that included being locked out of the house! It's always something!! Congrats to her though!!! I still remember when she first started school...and I first started my "big-girl" pharmacy job....moving to Memphis at the same time!

Next week we are having our engagement pictures made....and the wedding will be here fast!

I don't know about you...but I'm ready for a vacation....

Oh...and of course the puppies say hello!! (They really are starting to look alike huh?)

Where? Opryland Hotel!!

How excited am I---Very! I feel like I'm getting alot accomplished.

We are gonna get married at the Delta Pavilion in the Opryland Hotel...because there isn't anywhere prettier.

Here is a picture I took in January when I stayed there after Erin's baby shower....not imagining I'd be faxing in a contact for the place just 2 months later!!

Whatcha think?? Oh...and the ballroom for the reception is just as pretty!! The ceiling was made to look like an inverted wedding cake......

THE BEST TRIP YET!!

So, I'm being a little biased.....we just got back from San Francisco. I'd have to say it was a pretty great trip. We got engaged while we were there! Scott had a surprise hotel room in Carmel, and a crazy sweet fire on the beach (with smores and a blanket to sit on and roses...EVERYTHING!!). I was pretty shocked with how thoughtful and sweet he was. I felt pretty stinkin' special. Oh...and did I mention my beautiful ring??!! So...anyways....the rest of the trip was great. We went to Alcatraz for a night tour (a little creepy when it got dark in my opinion!), Muir woods and saw ridiculously tall trees, a day in Napa Valley (I really enjoyed the wine AND chocolate tasting!). We saw Coit tower and rode a cable car (scott said it wasn't that cool since memphis has one...but i was not willing to walk up one more steep street at that point!)

Well.....I didn't have to wait long to see those sweet baby faces!!! Today, February 15th is Mattie and Hailey's birthday!! Hooray!! I'm sure Erin is going to have some cute pictures of these babies soon. I waited patiently for some to come to me all day at work today, only to have my cell phone battery die! Great timing huh? Anyways, my mom emailed these...so it's all i've got for now! I think these are the prettiest babies I've seen! It's amazing how much they look like their aunt lauren! In all seriousness..they do look an awful lot like tiny Erins!! I love them already.

Happy Valentine's Day! It's a good thing I didn't make Blogging a resolution because it's FEBRUARY! ha. Anyways, not much new or exciting. January was a month of baby showers. It passed in a pink blur. Here's a picture of Mattie and Hailey's beautiful Mommy. I wish those little stinkers would hurry up and get here. I'm so curious to see what they look like (I can't imagine how Erin and Ken feel!).

Wrigley is getting big and bad. I think he is hitting his 'teenage' years. I'm ready to send him off for awhile. ha. He is cute, so he still gets away with stuff. He just got his first big boy haircut so I have to do double-takes to see if it is him or Lucy when one is at my feet.

I'm waiting patiently to plan vacations...I'd hate to be miles away and my sweet nieces decide to make their debut! I am gonna go somewhere beachy in April with one of my very best friends. We can't wait!!! Scott has mentioned he is ready for a trip too. So if you have any good place suggestions...throw them out there! He's working overnights now and has lots of time to travel. I'm just excited I've won him over to going places ALL THE TIME!!

Here's a picture Erin sent me. It made me smile when I got it because it was such a happy memory. We went shopping for clothes and she picked out so much stuff...they wheeled a rack in to hang all the stuff! We took a picture of it, because there were thousands of dollars of clothes in there I think! We spent hours in this dressing room...they brought us drinks!!! ha ha ha ha. One of the most fun times I've had with my sis! Thanks for the picture 'Lainey.

SADLY.......the dogs won't be appearing on my christmas card this year. It was just toooooo difficult to get 2 dogs still, posed, and cute in a picture. I got Lucy to sit still for this picture (doesn't it look like she's smiling??) but wild man Wrigley was another story. So, I decided I'd post Little Lu's photo and send it out this way!
