First Haircut!!

Libby's hair has gotten so long and shaggy, I decided it was time! Her 1st haircut! Check out, how long these bangs are! AHHH! The back was down her neck, but NOT even length. I wanna grow her bangs to the side, but i prefer they not look so unkempt in the process!

Miss Annie (Honey's stylist) took care of Libby's 1st haircut! Mommy came prepared with 3 of her favorite toys, 2 suckers (we've never tried these!), a sippy, videos on my blackberry, and goldfish crackers! Honey even brought a packet of craisins! Surprise---we needed NONE of them! Libby was PERFECT! She just waved at other customers and herself in the mirror. She wiggled a little trying to see the scissors, and kept pulling at her hair after it had been cut. Guess she was just checking Miss Annie's work. She got frustrated with her arm under the drape, so Mommy had to get it out so she could wave and say hi to everyone. Whew.

Lilly is 2, too!!!

Lilly had the PINKEST birthday party we've ever been too!! Her Mommy sure knows how to throw an over-the-top event! No detail was missed! Check out the adorable mouse ears we got!? Minnie Mouse even CAME to Lilly's club house. Libby had a pretty good time while Minnie did her performance (I was surprised thinking back to the Santa Claus experience!) She just pointed and did her deep belly laughs. She didn't want to get close to her though! Check out her escape in the top picture! Sweet Birthday girl Lilly ended up giving her hugs and taking lots of pictures with her! But, she is a big 2 YEARS OLD!!

We are lucky to have such fun friends!! Happy Birthday Lilly!

The Fun Begins!

We got to help Mattie and Hailey open presents after the party and try them all out! So MUCH FUN!! I'm glad they don't mind sharing with their cousin!

Mattie and Hailey are TWO-rrific!!!

We were lucky enough to go to Mattie and Hailey's 2nd birthday party. We got to meet lots of their adorable friends during our whirlwind trip! Whew! Libby and I went to Texas a day late thanks to ANOTHER snowstorm. (Come on SPRING! We welcome you with open arms!) This was Libby's 9th and 10th plane rides! She's a pro! She did great. She used both flights as time to make her fellow passengers-her audience. We had to wave, blow kisses, flirt, say "hi", peek-a-boo etc. the whole way. I guess it's better than crying! Honey and Papa were on our return flight....but Libby rode in my lap most of the way so she could lean out into the aisle.....so much for my hopes of passing the baby!

THE PARTY WAS INCREDIBLE THOUGH! Erin outdid herself. Decor, food, attire, etc. fit the theme to a T! You never cease to amaze me! We had a great time! There were tons of cute kiddos there and 2 adorable blondes in the spotlight!! Since I missed birthday party number 1 it was nice to be there this year (I was in the hospital having Libby, and we actually went there instead of going home! Caught just the tail end! I love these tiny two way too much to miss any part of their big days!!)

Libby LOVES her cousins and I'm so thrilled that they are so close in age. We can't wait for them to move closer. I think they will be a great, positive influence on her. Mattie and Hailey-you are two of the sweetest, friendliest, funniest girls I know. You are beautiful, silly and lovable! Your Aunt "Ya-Ya" thinks you're the coolest and loves you more than you'll ever know!

Valentine's Day!

Libby woke up to a highchair full of gifts and cards! She had so much fun looking at all her goodies before breakfast! Thank you to our sweet family for thinking of her and LOVING her on Valentine's and EVERYDAY!

Libby LOVED this outfit from Honey and Pawpaw so much she "cuddled" it on her shoulder and loved on it. Ha! I only have action shots of her ripping it out of the box and holding it up for me to see though!Miss Ashley and Lexie gave us this fun outfit and tutu we have on and it was perfect for the day!

Mr. Bryan and Mrs. Sandra always think of me! They always send the perfect gift! We were reading "Happy Valentine Mouse" from Sugar to our new puppy dog from the Wardens.

WHOA BABY!!

What a difference a year makes!! Sweet Libby was just over 1 month old for her first Valentine's day!

This year, she is a little over 13 months old and opened all her cards and gifts! Where has the time gone! Sweet little girl--you are FULL of Love and you have consumed our hearts with LOVE and ADORATION for you! Happy Valentine's Day!
