March!

I'm getting so big!! 10 weeks old!!

Libby LOVES the bright colors of the tv! This was a side view of her catching up on her scandals and gossip during Inside Edition.

"Are the ears really necessary guys?"

A few giggles and grins....(mainly an annoying mommy....i never realized how much Erin and I sound alike....and not the annoying part! ha!)

This is not a very entertaining video (unless you consider my antics to try and get reactions out of my sweet baby). She is her most personable in the middle of the night between the hours of 3 and 4...so it has not been caught on video. Apparently, it's the Mommy Comedy Hour happening in Libby's Room at that time that really gets her going. It starts on the changing table and once I get situated with a bottle, I can hardly get the darn thing in her mouth for the talking/jabbering/laughing/grinning she wants to do. I can't complain! I LOVE the little personality that is developing bit by bit in this tiny little girl. She HAS MY HEART!

Texas Twins!

Libby had her first plane ride to Texas to visit her ADORABLE cousins. i was a nervous wreck during the flight hoping she wouldn't be a screamer...and she was great. Slept the whole way once her tummy was full. WHEW! Looks like she's a traveler!

Erin's sweet girls are just wonderful. I have to cutest nieces on the planet. Here they are checking Libby out before our walk around the neighborhood.

Libby wore her best outfit and bow (a gift from our sweet friend Heather) to impress her stylish cousins.

Oh! I forgot to mention that she got her SHOTS at the doctor the morning of the flight. It was AWFUL. Very little would console her after them, which made for a very distraught Mommy. I'm dreading putting her through that again...but I know its for her own good. Libby wore her pink scrubs that Honey bought her for Christmas. She wanted to be "professional" at the Doctor's office. The nurses thought it was a hoot.

Here's my valentine photo (right after my bath, so i was a little drowsy). Sugar, Mattie & Hailey gave me my outfit. Not a surprise huh? I look pretty cute in my pink tutu.

According to my shirt, I have a lot of studying in my future. I'm practicing "all-nighters" now like my mom used to do before tests. (it says 'future pharmacist' on it if you can't see!)

I forgot to mention Libby's newest stat. She weighs over 10 pounds now!! We are growing over here!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

today is LOVE DAY and Libby has been showered with love on her first holiday. I can't believe that we are already into her MONTH 2 of life! It's flying so quickly. February has been a month of SNOW in Memphis. We've had several days with several inches. The two weekends we had snow Libby and I stayed with Honey and G-Daddy. The first weekend we took the puppies with us because the power was out at home. It's amazing the STUFF babies require to travel (even across town).

One new item we are using is the Nap Nanny! A friend at church lent it to us when we were having a conversation about GERD. (yuck...Libby's personal nightmare!) I had seen it in a magazine, but saw how expensive it was. She had one...what are the chances! Since her little boy was no longer using it...we get to! How lucky is that. This is how I have gotten Libby back in her crib as she couldn't sleep flat on her back without screaming from the acid in her throat. Poor baby!! Life has changed dramatically since the Nap Nanny moved in. What a sweet friend we have found in Garland and little Porter! If this keeps up, I have to babysit or something to pay her back!

This next picture isn't pretty...but it's REAL! Ha. This was the only way we could get any rest before! If Libby wasn't in her swing, she was in someone's arms. The pups like being included too (and Wrigley kept his toy handy). This is one full couch,

Honey loves Libby! She has been great help. Libby is a very lucky baby to have such an awesome grandma! The first week Honey and Aunt Erin came over whenever I asked and took turns feeding or keeping me company overnight. How lucky am I??!! Honey and G-Daddy have let us have sleepovers and they are more than willing to cuddle their sweet baby and give mommy a break!! I've gotten some of my BEST sleep at their house lately!

6 weeks!

I swear I take photos of my child...I just don't have time to upload them on the computer. We're still in that "sleep when the baby sleeps" phase. So....I have a couple pics until I get some free time. The top one was taken by a friend at Callum's first birthday. Libby pretty much slept through it, but she has plenty of time to learn about cake eating! She's just 6 weeks old tomorrow. The other pic was just a random one. It's funny to me that both pictures have her Paci in her mouth as she really doesn't use one. If she does have it in, it doesn't last long as she shoves it out when she falls asleep. Too bad you can't see her sweet little face better!
